BlackRock launches blockchain industry ETF names crypto as 1 of 3 big opportunities
BlackRock has officially announced the launch of a blockchain-focused ETF which shall provide investors with exposure to the blockchain industry and crypto at large without needing them to directly own any digital asset.
It was on Wednesday the world’s largest asset manager added the blockchain and Tech ETF (IBLC) to its iShares product line. The asset manager currently manages $10 trillion worth of assets. The $4.7 million ETF will not directly own any crypto or digital asset but shall instead track the array of international companies involved with the industry.

Bitcoin ATM installed in Mexico’s Senate Building
Mexico’s building is now home to the nation’s 14th Bitcoin (BTC) ATM. It is being taken as a positive sign with the country’s increasing interest in Bitcoin. The ATM got installed on Tuesday with several legislators in support such as Miguel Angel Mancera, head of the Parliamentary group of the Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD).
