Bears Regain Their Control, Will Bitcoin & Ethereum Mark New Bottoms in 2022?
The crypto space tumbled down notably with a drop of nearly 2.74% in the global market cap. At the press time, Bitcoin & Ethereum are on the verge to drop below INR 16 lakhs & INR 90K respectively. Most of the altcoins drop considerably by 5% to 6% on an average, while some of them are trying hard to maintain their bullish streak. On the other hand, DeFi & NFTs also plunge hard while stablecoins maintain their peg.
BTC & ETH prices have plunged by 2.49% & 3.68%, while BNB, XRP, ADA drop by 1.89%, 6.03% & 4.24% resp. TerraClassicUSD(USTC) tops the leaderboard with a 49.47% jump followed by Chilliz(CHZ) with 13.4% & Kava (KAVA) by 8.81%. LUNC’s price after the crash has been trading within the bearish captivity irrespective of a couple of jumps that were nullified quickly. However, the asset has witnessed a significant upswing in the past couple of days. Therefore, the price broke out of the descending triangle and pulled a massive leg up.
The price in the short-term has formed a couple of bullish flags and hence breaking out from the recent flag, the price is expected to surge more than 20% to hit INR 0.007. However, the asset could undergo minor corrections, but maintain the bullish momentum. As the weekend approaches, the price may quickly jump in action and attempt hard to surpass INR 0.01 levels soon

Bitcoin saw $453M in outflows last week
According to Coinshares report, BTC saw an outflow totaling $453 million. While The ProShares Short Bitcoin Strategy ETF saw $15.3 million in inflows. The reason behind the carnage is the central reserve bank increasing the interest rates by 0.5% as a result of inflation.

Meta launches Meta Pay, a digital wallet for the metaverse.
Meta Pay will be the digital wallet for Facebook’s arm ‘Meta’. Earlier the wallet was called Facebook Pay which is now being rebranded to ‘Meta Pay’. The functions and offerings of the new wallet will be similar to the former wallet. According to the CEO of Meta, the wallet will offer two solutions: accessibility to digital goods or assets and proof of ownership.
