Slovenia unveils Plans for a flat tax on crypto transactions
The Slovenia government on Thursday unveiled that it is thinking on the lines of a flat-rate tax proposal on crypto transactions. The government also asked the Slovenian Parliament to move quickly with the same.
This proposed tax is part of the government’s post-COVID recovery plan that shall be due when virtual currencies are exchanged or sold and shall be effective at a rate under 5%. The entire aim is to simplify the existing system as well as de-bureaucratize it and this shall also ensure an improved competitive position for Slovenia as the crypto market take off.

The Philippines’ top payment provider adds crypto to its mobile app
PayMaya, the Philippines-based major fintech company has announced the launch of its new crypto feature on the app. The company is said to have been following the footsteps of PayPal and other such fintech companies.
According to reports, the PayMaya users shall be able to purchase, spend and trade in digital assets using their accounts. This also comes as a comprehensive deal from PayMaya to provide a crypto package to anybody entering the market.
