Luna Foundation Guard adds nearly $230M worth of BTC
Luna Foundation Guard (LFG) is a non-profit organization that has been mandated to build reserves to support Terra USD (UST) that returned to the crypto market on Wednesday after snapping bitcoin worth $227 million. LFG has recently bought 5040 BTC to boost its reserve by 35,768 BTC with an average market price of $45,100.
This is one of the significant purchases made by the company since March. The reserve size was increased to $3 billion in the last month with Do Kwon, the Terraform Labs founder tweeting to eventually build a $10 billion bitcoin stash.

Ledger launches crypto hardware wallet with enhanced NFT support
Ledger has unveiled the latest version of its crypto hardware wallet called the Nano S Plus. One of the new features of this wallet is it prioritizes the NFT collectors. The new hardware wallet offers support such as signing via the company’s web app in order to ensure the safety of the NFT collectors during transactions. This new feature is to make the user aware of the kind of transaction they are executing.
Blind signing is one of the reasons why billions of dollars are lost on a monthly basis. Nano S Plus Ledger when connected to Ledger Live gives users their transaction details through clear signing and the users are also recommended to avoid such transactions where these details are not visible.

Starbucks to enter the NFT business
The CEO of Starbucks Howard Schultz announced on Monday that the coffeehouse chain is all decked up to enter the non-fungible token (NFT) business by the end of the year 2022. Schultz returned to Starbucks after having served as interim CEO and executive chairman for the company on multiple occasions over the past 20 years. He has a firm belief that Starbucks can be uniquely positioned to succeed in the NFT market.
Starbucks has been involving itself with blockchain technology and is also a participant in the Bakkt digital asset wallet and rewards project that was launched last year which lets its iOS users use Bakkt stored bitcoin reward points.
